Gun violence doesn’t just take lives. It robs our world of those with the potential to make it a better place. Below you’ll find the incomplete works of artists, educators, researchers, scholars, and athletes who never had the opportunity to realize their true potential.

THE MUSEUM OF INCOMPLETE

Every day, nearly 100 lives are left unfinished due to gun violence. When a life is taken due to gun violence, the loss experienced by friends, families, and communities is unimaginable. It is our duty to change gun violence statistics from numbers into the harsh reality that lives are being lost.

SUBMITTING TO THE MUSEUM OF INCOMPLETE

Victims leave behind incomplete ideas, ambitions, goals, and dreams. Symbols of the lives cut short may take the form of songs, drawings, poems, architectural projects, unattended events, unworn clothing, text messages, or anything else that conjures up feelings of incompleteness. If you or a loved one has been affected by gun violence, please consider submitting an artifact to help us tell their story and honor the creative minds, souls, and spirits of gun violence victims.
